We don't know about you but we love exploring our own backyard, and when we travel we're always on the hunt for 'the best picnic spot'. There's loads of off-the-beaten-track options, but sometimes we overlook the beauty (and convenience) of some of Australia's most beautiful parks and reserves. 

Whether you're looking for a scenic spot with stunning views, a peaceful location to relax, or an adventure-filled day with the kids, there's something for everyone. Here are our top picks for the best picnic spots in Australia:
